As Director of Clinical Services I have a Master's in Education and have been using research-based methodologies with students for over 20 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our goal at Applied Learning is to develop the sensory-cognitive processing functions that support learning. Many instructional methodologies and curriculums in the traditional classroom setting and in the remedial setting assume that these processing functions are adequately developed.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location with no plans at this time to open another one.

We are located in south Kansas City, near Martin City. Our address is 430 East Blue Ridge Boulevard, which is about 131st street between Wornall Road and Holmes Road.

Which areas do you service?
We have worked with students from all over the country, but the vast majority of our students are from the greater Kansas City metropolitan area on both sides of the state line.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The business is owned by Billie Calvery. Melinda Buie is the director of Clinical Services and Julie Riddle is office manager.
