Terrible if you have children. I live in a city, and only one pediatric dentist takes them. He doesn't allow parents to go beyond the waiting room. When I called Dental Source to ask if they had options for me paying a greater amount to go to a non-network dentist but would still cover a portion, the customer service rep told me this was common for dentists because many children act up in front of their parents, and if I had a problem with my child acting up I should be focusing on that! I was in shock a professional company would have an employee like this. I sent an e-mail to the company, and never received a response. You are better served with United Concordia or Delta Dental - I've had wonderful experiences with both.
