How long have you been in business?
The Festival has been producing FREE professional productions of Shakespeare's plays in Southmoreland Park since 1993, and offering in-school, weekend and summer camp education programs for youth for eighteen years.
What is your primary product or service?
The Festival presents a professional production of a Shakespearean play each summer FREE to the public. We offer year round education programs for youth ages 6 - 18, and some programs for life-long learners.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The Festival is FREE professional theatre, and we only produce the works of Shakespeare.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We perform in Southmoreland Park each summer. Our summer camps are located in mid-town Kansas City, Kansas City North, Kansas City, KS, Overland Park, KS, and Independence, MO.
What type of payments do you accept?
We are a FREE Festival, but accept donations or FAN memberships. We also offer reserved upfront seats each year for sale. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Master Card and American Express.
Which areas do you service?
We provide professional productions in the mid-town area that are open to audience members from any and education programs throughout the metropolitan area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are a 501 (c) 3, not-for-profit with a full time staff of three.
What are your hours of operation?
Office hours are 9:00 - 5:00 p.m. When our production is running, the park opens at 6:00 p.m. and showtime is 8:00 p.m. nightly.
